Skylark Mural Proposal

Inspired by the dual meaning of Skylark—both a bird and a classic Buick—I proposed a mural for Skylark Bar in Pilsen to bring life and color to its surroundings. The design features two 1961 Buick Skylarks crowned with soaring skylark birds, all painted in warm, earthy tones that complement the bar’s existing aesthetic. A large, vintage-inspired script spans the composition, echoing Skylark’s signage and character. This project reflects both my dedication to mural-making and my deep appreciation for a beloved neighborhood space.
