Shady Rest Vintage & Vinyl gets it’s very own rebrand. I created a retro illustration to depict the playful and nostalgic environment of the record store. I chose to illustrate a record with an ode to vintage cartoons, adorned with a hat and sunglasses as a shady record would. I chose to work with a clean proud sans-serif typeface to compliment the main focus being the illustration. I chose to work solely in black, white, and grey to respect the aesthetic of the store, allowing their products and many vinyls be their pop of color.

A unique and special place such as Shady Rest, deserves the same of their logo.
